What to drink on a diet?


Aim to keep your calories for your food!

If you find your weight loss plateauing but you know you have been consistent with your food plan, then maybe it is time to look at what you are drinking.

There are 135 calories in your average latte..210 in your 500ml bottle of Coke & a Long Island Ice Tea could have up to 780 Calories .

Nothing wrong with these if they are strategically placed into your plan and accounted for but there are smarter options available to you.

A black coffee/tea is virtually calorie free, zero calorie versions of your favourite soft drinks are also a good option to hit a craving and stay on plan!

If you don’t eat out a lot, it is not something that is going to get in the way of you following a plan. Progress will be made in the long term. Aim to factor in the odd meal out via the above guidelines but don’t forget to enjoy it at the same time! It is the everyday habitual stuff that will determine progress.
