Eating breakfast won’t magically kickstart your metabolism, it won’t be the reason you start shedding weight and it certainly won’t stop you picking later in the day if you are hungry.
No one has ever sat down at 10pm and thought - good thing I ate breakfast this morning so I’m not hungry now.
Eating first thing in the morning is completely optional – a lot of people do not want to eat when they get up. Lots of people start work at 6/7am and the thought of eating anything at 5am does not appeal to them.
What to do? Eat your first meal of the day when you want it.
